Our September 2022 Pre‑Launch
STAPIL CAD is SmartTech's new and exciting, affordable, standalone CAD and Mapping tool, which will be replacing uSMART. The product was pre‑launched in September 2022 in both Cape Town and Johannesburg.
For STAPIL CAD, SmartTech has focused and developed the parts of the software that were difficult to complete within uSMART, due to various external factors. Therefore, STAPIL CAD's development cycle will be continued over the next 12 - 18 months to allow for the functionality to be equivalent to that of uSMART. Introduction
This video introduces and details the fundamentals of STAPIL CAD. We look at the ribbon and mapping tab, which allows you to access various tools, and we introduce the method of project management through workspaces, solutions, and managers. An overview of the essential toolboxes, along with view commands, are also given.
Essential Toolboxes
This video showcases the essential CAD toolboxes that you will use while mapping and designing in STAPIL CAD, specifically the Command, Snap, Navigate and Grid toolboxes. These toolboxes allow you to seamlessly move through, edit, and map to your datasets like never before.
